Tired old arguments exist

because they have foundation, if they didn't they wouldn't be old. Tennis is elitist and largely stulltifyingly boring. Single person sports are by definition only capable of polarising supporters and lack the real cut and thrust of team sports. For reference please see, Formula 1 or Golf. Enjoy.
