the Billy Sharp saga

Morning ladies.

If we have had a fresh offer for Eastwud turned down then it is interesting, for once, to see NCFC purusing more than one target at a time. Usually we go after one player, lose out, and then have to start work all over again on our #2 target.
If we have offers accepted for Sharp AND Eastwud then we can play them off against the other and might get a better deal re wages.

On a slighty related note, I remember (back in the mists of time) that Sharp's agent, one Imre Varadi, was a player that City were really hot and heavy for. That deal seemed to go on for ever and then fell through. Anyone else remember it, and which club he chose rather than us?
