Another problem we have in major tournaments is that the "strength" of English football is supposedly our ability to play a fast paced game (like the much-vaunted Prem) but that isn't practical at major tournaments which are always played in summer and usually in very hot conditions. That has clearly been a factor in recent major tournaments. It means we have to get away from doing what we are best at, with sadly predictable results.
