if he hadn't brought Ferdinand on (for an attacking player) with 3 minutes left he could have brought him on when Taylor got injured and we would have had moreuseful players in extra time (and a more balanced team). I hate that sort of substitution (now known by me as the Sutch Manoeuvre. We were defending quite comfortably at that point so we didn't need to bring another defender on.
