Not especially concerned

if we, say, bought Sharp for £2m and Cureton for £500k and sold Earnie for £4.5m I'd consider that fairly decent business. Assuming that is that we can't afford to buy Sharp and keep Earnie and STILL have plenty of money for the GK, defender, midfielder etc that we still need. If we can afford to keep Earnie and still have plenty of money to splash on the 4 or 5 other players (including Sharp) that we still need then obviously that is preferable. But I'm not convinced that is the case, in which case we won't be able to build a contending team WITHOUT selling Earnie (the other players are all worth f*** all in transfer value)
