'We have also signed an old striker who nearly repeated the trick of the above at Cardiff' - 14 goals in a struggling side isn't a bad strike rate, therefore we can argue that his 14 goals kept them up. So therefore we're signing a player who almost single-handedly kept Cardiff up.
