Nope, not Naples; but have heard it's bad

the problem is that most Italians roads were divised for two people to pass comfortably past each other centuries ago. Modern roads were built by contractors more interested in syphoning off all public money into the hands of the mafia. And that Italian drivers are impatient maniacs who ALL (including the women) think they are Emerson Fittipaldi. They'll take the whole width of the road whether there is other traffic on it or not. and woe betide the driver hesitates for a millisecond or two at an unfamiliar junction or traffic lights.

I'm only generalising a little bit.
