before we were promoted it was mostly the other way round

and we were always away on Boxing Day. Had something to do with a carnival in Ipswich first day of season every year so they had to be away to take pressure off the police. They prefer one of us to be home and the other away, I suppose to make meeting on the train/road less likely.

Does the season start earlier now or has the carnival date changed?
