I'm not a lover of their music, but they are the single most important band ever.

You don't have to like them or their music to understand the relevance of what they did at the time.

That said, I don't like Revolver, I don't like the White Album, I like a few from Sgt Pepper. I like some of their songs, I hate others. As it goes.
