It's not a serious point

Imagine if they *hadn't* done this. Then whenever your team was about to lose, you could run on the pitch, smack the ref, and get the game replayed.

Point is, the guy who did it has seen his team punished. It's not that hard to find out who someone supports before you decide which team to punish.
