Deja Vu

As with last summer we inveitably find ourselves linked with any number of players. Almost as inevitably, despite all the rumours, we are yet to sign anyone.

I know it is early days and the club will no doubt trot out all the usual excuses, players/agents/managers on holiday etc but don't you find this a little tedious?

Some of our so called targets have already moved elsewhere, Woods being a case in point. I can only assume/hope our interest was not genuine because if it was, what are we doing letting Doncaster get ahead of us? Even a player deemed to be a cert signing for us - Otsomebor, hasn't as yet put pen to paper.

Given our poor performance in the transfer market over the last few seasons I remain to be convinced by the way this club conducts its business in the transfer market. Doncaster has stated that the club likes to conduct its transfer business in private. Does this cloak of secrecy extend to not letting the player or his club know either?
