It is like Groundhog day

This time last year the world cup was starting...people were moaning about Beckham and Owen, the Golden boys always being picked by Sven.

Beckham's form was debatable and his celebrity status getting in the way. Owen had been injured all season. Both were picked at the World Cup and look what happened.

A year later, McClaren picks them both again...

Having said that, they could be the difference...not as if we have done much without them!
