Francis Staying

Reported on Radio Nortfolk this morning that Francis has stated to Worthy that he would like to stay at Norwich. Expect him to be gone by the week-end then.

Seriously, I don't imagine Portsmouth as being the kind of move he was envisaging when the season ended in May and he has obviously had a re-think. He needs to re-build his reputation with both the fans and any prospective suitors.

For his part, Worthy won't retain anyone who he considers to be a bad apple. Of course, it could all be a smokescreen designed to get Pompey to come in with an improved offer but who know's.
