Football's bent all the way down

Brand new club Farnborough FC "placed" in Step 4. Whereas Truro City, over a hundred years old, have had to win promotion from Step 7, then Step 6, and will have to go up from Step 5 next season to arrive at Step 4.
Truro's crime is to be a well-run club, unlike the previous club that played in Farnborough which went into administration, failed to adhere to the terms of that administration and was wound up.
