A bit concerned he's said so out loud but should surprise none of us he feels that way. Everyone has their price including him and if someone came in with it he'd be off, whether he'd said anything or not.
That said I would *love* him still to be a City player next term and really hope we hang on to him. But part of that depends also on his attitude - Ashton wanted away and it was (allegedly) poison in the dressing room.
Ideally we'd keep him till the January window. If we're clearly repeating the season we've just had, he should go then and with our blessing and thanks; if we're at or near the top he should stay anyway because the season after he'd get more or less a guaranteed start in the Prem if we did go up.
