that's the same one i stayed at a couple of years ago

took the missus for away for a romantic valentine's weekend, barely left the bedroom, unfortunately for the wrong reasons...

had been suffering for the week before with a really bad sore throat, but determined not to let it spoil our plans i just took a few Ibuprofen and tried to carry on

sore throat was getting worse every hour and i was getting very feverish, didn't even have the energy to get out of bed

in the end got the hotel to call a doctor who diagnoses tonsilitis and prescribes anti-biotics

came home the next day and went back to work the day after

was a nice hotel to be ill in i thought, very comfortable, food was alright and the staff were very helpful

it's f**king miles from anyway though, which would've pissed me off if i'd been well enough to leave the room!
