are today, ie boring, sterile affairs. "The police did a good job", FFS what has happened to football(or is it just Norwich) fans. I'm no "thug", but i don't feel the need to wear an overpriced replica shirt to prove my loyalty to my club & city and, although you're probably far too young to remember, i also believe that football & derbies in particular were far, far more fun & exciting in the days when proper away supports were allowed to travel and the police weren't given free reign by the two clubs to dictate virtually every aspect of the day. Call me a luddite if you like, but can you say, hand on heart, that today was an exciting, good to be alive type of day? There was very little difference to any other game, oh except the police made us all get up early on a Sunday to watch it all. Fanbloodytastic.
