I'm not going to spend any longer trying to convert you. But ask yourself - do people speak the same way as they did 50 years ago ... 100 years ago ... 500 years ago. If everyone had stuck to the rules of the language when they were first set down, we would still be speaking ye olde kinges englishe. Things change (and yes, one day, some txtspk will be officially accepted as correct English).
