West Brom have been up/down/up/down and have a solid backing to get in a sound-ish financial position, and crucially getting that extra year in the PL last time.

Personally, I don't think there was too much wrong with the idea of using the parachute payments to invest in the squad, but the players bought...Jesus H Fucking Christ Almighty! T'is an awfully long way back now.
