Quad-Core = 2 x Dual-Core Xeon "Woodcrest"
8-Core = 2 x Quad-Core Xeon "Clovertown"

Beasts indeed - on one site I saw a comparison (in dollars) with a Dell equivalent (with old 2.6GHz chips) and the Dell was over $1000 more expensive (and, of course, you get a s**t OS)
