Three trolls on a rickety bridge

One says "Let's go and put our bags up"

Someone said this to me on my first day at school in rural Norfolk.

"Put our bags up what?" I thought.

Then I learned further phrases such as:

"Shut yer neck"

"Walk up"

"Wer err er"

"T'um"

"Hold yew hard"

and

"Saturday night finger"
