To be honest...

...my little Ka has served the missus well (130k km on it in 4 years) and has been all over Europe, from Cork all the way to Dubrovnik and has never broken down. I use it as a runabout these days. But it is a tin box with a lawnmower engine.

The Astra is also reliable (German intut), and I must admit is a joy to drive.

If we worked closer to each other and could do with the one car, I think I'd be boring and go for a new Golf to be honest.
