not even a picture of the crisps exists on the interwebs. they definitely existed though (although i always went for the bovril flavour ones). I think basically Smiths cut costs by using a 'do it yourself' attitude to flavouring. Salt n Shake was so popular it stayed around. Vinegar n shake (and square crisps) weren't popular enough.
