See, I'm at a bit of a loss

Cos I don't think I need braodband. I don't download, watch videos, play games online. I'm not going to read any more quickly - and OK so pages will load faster, but what'm I going to do with that extra 5 seconds?

I'd still be resisting the upgrade if it weren't that more and more websites seem to assume everyone has broadband now and so that 'extra 5 seconds' is becoming more like an 'extra 30 secs'.... it can only get worse.

This madasafish thing looks quite cheap. I've just mailed them asking if there are any other costs, and can I just pay the whole sheb up front (I hate monthly payments). But in truth I'd get by with 512 Mbqprs per picosquiggle, probably, so even this 180 quid might be a bit steep.
