Worlds Poshest Book Debate

Sorry, couldn't help but pick up on the debate further down...

I have to nominate "The Pendulum" by Umberto Eco.

Has anyone read it?

It was on my list when I did my degree, 10 people in my group, I don't think any of us managed it, I don't think I got much further than page 30-40.

A friend of mine got through to about page 200, then came across a card from the publisher which said "Congratulations On Getting This Far!"-but he didn't last very much longer.

If anyone has read it, I congratulate them!
