Rooney needs to be playing deeper against teams who defend in numbers

It's all very well trying to play through balls but it's not gonna work if there's no space to run in to. McClown can say Rooney's been rubbsh and although I agree that he's been poor, we're really not getting the ball to him in the areas where he can be effective
