ipod questions..........

had my 3rd gen ipod for about 3yrs now and love it, but as the battery life gets worse and worse now (down to about 2 hours after fully charging it - mind you, use it to death!!!) am considering buying a new one.....

question: anyone know when the next generation (6th gen i think) is due out? should I wait for that or go for the current 5th gen video?? anyone know what improvements will be on the 6th gen??
