I'd say it's a small chance.

There's a few fools like me who'll pay through the nose for gamesconsoles at launch, despite the bad PR, then there's a load of AV nutters who see it as a low price/high quality BluRay player.

Hardcore gaming nerds won't warm to it for a while, mostly because of the lack of quality FPS games.

I'm not expecting to get the best out of mine for a year or so, by which time GTAIV and GT5 will be out.
