The Long Blondes - hotpantastic!

I really like them on record - slightly discordant musically; sassy and sussed lyrically. But live ..? Well, the lyrics are still there and f**k's sake can she belt them out! But, the guitarist is a t**t - I really grew to hate him: live one expects something of a rocking-out; but not once did he approach the monitor and crash out a bit of feedback, just satisfying himself with, frankly, bog standard riffs while prancing around the stage like Keef Richards. Without the drugs. And to compound everything, the whole band were drinking litre bottles of mineral water - not exactly Rock 'n' Roll (unless, of course, they were off their tits on LSD, which I doubt).

Disappointing.
