How I laughed

At the reply to the post below, which intimated that my future wife, who happens to come from Thailand, was marrying me to get a passport.
Oh, the pomposity, to assume that she wants to come and live in this country ! She is a teacher, and in Thailand where the profession is highly respected both by the population and especially the kids. To think for one minute that she would even consider coming here to teach the ill disciplined stabmeisters we have bred - I don't think so, thanks.
One look at many of the posts on here should tell her the state of our education system and put her off forever.
