Agree, but there is the timing aspect

Have to hope they're getting the s**t out of the way now and will learn what "line" and "length" mean when the next stage starts, cleverly avoiding being superhot for the early games and over the cliff for the later ones.

A similar approach as that used in the recent Australia tour, actually, when we wisely used the Ashes to get the cobwebs out of the way so we could win the all important triangular series afterwards.
