TV phone call-in fiasco

am I alone in thinking that if anyone is fekking stupid enough to text or call-in to some reality TV show to vote anyone off or express an opinion on an issue (should our troops pull out of Iraq; text sky news.. YES or NO?) then they really don't deserve to have any money anyway? Mongtastically funny.
