Some perspective about yesterday.......

Dont get me wrong I have sympathy for the families and friends of the victims yesterday but lets get the day into perspective.

In 2001 - 3,443 died on UK roads (2000 - 3,431)

That's roughly 10 a day, EVERY DAY

Hardly anybody gives a thought for them (apart from the relatives and friends of the deceased).

In the weeks and months to come, yesterday's events will fade away in most people's memories.

Life has its risks and you just hope you are not in the wrong place at the wrong time.
