Which is the problem. And my point was that things need to happen here - we need to deny Blair the opportunity to carry out his political programme.
That's a long-term project, though - it relies on getting people involved with a counter-political party (or project) and breaking down the influence of a media which is controlled by the same interests that control the government.
As for the people in Bradford you speak of, they do need addressing. As do the BNP supporters who will inevitably attack people verbally and physically as a result of this. I don't disagree with arrest and deportation in certain cases, as an immediate response - as I said, it is going to take a long time to change the global political climate, and its attendant domestic microcosm on Islamist/non-Islamist tension in British cities. But the fundamentalists of which you speak needn't have an event like this to celebrate - that's what makes me so angry about today (that, Blair's speech, and the crushing inevitability of it).
I'd love to argue this further but I'm getting very tired.
