fao pants - every pro should want to play, but unfortunately pants they don't

an ex-pro said in his autobiography (his name escapes me at the mo) that there were plenty of footballers who only play football because they can and it's an easy way for them to make a living, not because they have any liking for the game

the ex-pro said he couldn't understand that because he'd do anything to be able to continue playing the game - Thorne is not that type of player!

part of me now thinks he's too scared to play, he's realised he's never going to make it here, when he does play he's not performing to the standards he used to, therefore why bother, the fans don't want him here, why not say that knee hurts just that bit more then it actually does, what's one more game to not play in, afterall he'll still be paid...
