I like him (not in that way)

He was a really class player, I thought, and he bloody nearly kept us up. Without him we'd have subsided meekly and been down by St Valentine's Day. He brought new spirit and energy.

He stayed with us over the summer and didn't do any "come and get me" press statements. I think he just lost heart after he realised quite how s**t Worthy's replacement signings were. I remember seeing him away at QPR - he ran his nuts off the first half, then something seemed to snap and he just gave up.

Not a legend, but a really, really good player that I am pleased we had.
