he still does, but he's morphed himself into Jesper Gronkjaer
He can take players on, he's fast, but ball into the box? 1 in about 6 attempts maybe, by then as a fan your infuriated with him, then he smashes the ball over the bar when he could have passed it
Then out of no where, one of his balls is accurate, but the striker didn't convert
He needs to make sure every ball is accurate and the striker is the one that bags one in six crosses, not 1 in 6 crosses is finally a chance for a striker to creating an opportunity in the box
That is what David Bentley does game after game, wastes good opportunities, then comes out with one bit of class
He was frustrating playing for us, but did the odd good thing, and is frustrating for Blackburn doing the odd good thing
Good enough for the prem, but not good enough to be a good prem player
