I'm not arguing against the talks at the G8 or any other good and worthy cause...all I'm asking for is a little humility towards your fellow human beings - whether they be in London, Norwich, Africa wherever...

As for the relevance of asking about where you lived: I suspected you weren't a fan of London - nothing wrong with that - but that bias, for want of better expression, comes across as clouding your view of what's happened today - I maybe wrong, and that probably comes across as patronising, but it does read that way...ultimately I respect your thoughts, they are of course right and good, but you could divert some of that towards those who have died or been injured today, or those that have lost someone who's only crime was to go to work...

Dunno, if you've ever had the unfortunate experience of loved ones dieing, I have too many times and it hurts, it really, really hurts, and that's why we should all spare just a little bit of our thoughts for those that today have found themselves on the wrong side of living...there for the grace of God and all that...
