Thinking about today and how dreadful it has been for all concerned, and, selfishly but honestly, how I am so very glad I don't live or work in London now-and feel so much for those that do and have friends and family there, and how London will always be a target, and that, tomorrow, next week, nest month, next year, the threat will always be there...
...then thought about yesterday's decision re.the Olympics and how, amongst it all, people in other places throughout the UK were saying how they resented London being the centre of attention and getting these events, the facilities, the publicity, the investment...
And how today made me realise that for all of that, also goes things like what has happened today, and for all the light that London bathes itself in, it has to cope with all of this dark shadow as well.
To be so lucky and fortunate and then so damned and in despair withion the space of 24 hours. Can't even begin to get my head around it...
