I was in the forces and the Police and the same can be said for both.......

Mercer was absolutely spot- on in what he said - I've seen it meny times with my own eyes.

His only mistake was that in the politically correct Britain we live in today - you just can't say anything like that, however true or otherwise it may be!

I served with many ethnis minority guys in the Navy and all the best ones used their colour to their advantage and actually made a laugh of it themselves, but there was already a minority who used the race card as a cover for their inadequacies. I saw the same in the Police with an Iraqi copper who used to wind up the father of a soldier serving in Iraq with his Saddam Rolex - when the guy decked him he sued the force for racial harassment and they settled out of court for £15K and that was 15 years ago - this has been going on for years!
