Sussex Canary...

...apologies if this is old news, just spoke to my wife as I need to get from Nutbourne back to Barnham, via Chichester this evening & take a Brighton train out of Portsmouth to do so.

She said Brighton station had been closed for much of this morning, as a suspect package was seen on the concourse, which led to Portsmouth bomb disposal turning out. It was a briefcase-so top marks to the w**ker that left it there-but it closed the station and has affected the line, certainly trains should be running into Brighton by mid-late afternoon, but I would guess you are going to need to get out to somewhere like Three Bridges/East Croydon to catch one?
