I received a reply from the club regarding my complaint:
"Many thanks for your extremely reasoned and well-constructed email.
The issue you raise is one that has been affecting a number of other users of CanariesWorld also, which clearly concerns us.
Because of this the Club, through chief executive Neil Doncaster, are continuing to lobby Football League Interactive for a way to resolve this and to ensure exiled supporters such as yourself do not miss out on following the team from afar.
I have forwarded your email to a high-ranking representative of FLi this evening and am awaiting their response. As soon as I have one, I will forward it to yourself.
Thanks again for taking the time to email, and also apologies that you had to at all."
So, at least there are sympathetic ears at the club. As it happens, I've also just written back to CW Customer Services and await their response.
