But it's not unique to PTV. Many sites are Windows only. Not because they can't be made to work universally; but just because lazy programmers can't be bothered or use Windows only techniques because that's what's put in front of them. Microsoft don't care because it just reinforces their neo-monopoly position. To be fair, Apple have done something similar with the iTunes Store: the downloads can only be played on an iPod - something that has been ruled illegal in a few European countries (I think, Norway and France).
