Good heavens. This may be the longest and most tearful blub in WOTB history

You have just reminded me why I put you on my ignore list! (Which I must switch on again.)

In the interests of neutrality, I will simply set out the exchange about Earnie (in which you made no mention at all of his all round play, just criticised his first touch). Other people can read it and make their own minds up about reasoned debate. (I should also point out that this was just after we'd lost at Poorman Road, so we were all a bit tense.)

Earnie yesterday...
OK I agree that he didn't see a great deal of the ball and he does conjure goals from impossible angles at times.
But his first touch let him down again yesterday on several ocasions and it's not the first time.

If we do finally sort out the midfield and manage to get the ball to him more often. It would be good if he could stop it bouncing off his feet when he gets it.

Having said that.

We were dire yesterday. :-(

11 goals is not bad

Not saying it is...
And i appreciate each and every one of them.

But a good first touch and turn can change games.

A second goal could have turned our game yesterday.

Who knows? It may just have injected some enthusiasm into the lazy bastards.

FFS snowman
Earnie is either top scorer in this division or second top, I can't remember

Criticising his first touch etc is just bonkers. He's a human being, not a robot; he's going to make mistakes; but it is just brilliant to have scored as many goals as he has in a team misfiring as badly as our is. OK, if he had a better first touch blah blah maybe he would have scored even more, but if he was even better than he is, he wouldn't be playing for us!

We have many, many bigger targets for moaning than Earnie's first touch!

I quote...

"Having said that.

Sorry i expressed an opinion.

And....
I quote....

"Who knows? It may just have injected some enthusiasm into the lazy bastards"

That's ten other "Targets"

Enough for you?

Not really, no
Posting a message titled "Earnie yesterday" and then shooting off about how poor Earnie's first touch is, when Earnie's the division's top scorer or thereabouts and we've got five or six utter numpties on the pitch for more worthy of criticism, is like singling out Miss Brazil for not having the right lipstick on when all the other candidates were rejects for Miss Ipswich.

So. You only read the title then?
Nuff said.

You utter f**king knobber
You post a load of s**te about how poor Earnie's first touch is (none of which is in the title), suggest (not in the title) that if only he'd scored a second goal it could all have been different, then realise you've made a t**t of yourself, backpedal like Lance Armstrong on rewind (? Tricky Hawes) trying to pretend that you were REALLY criticising OTHER people, and now start the playground "you only read the title" stuff?

I really can't be arsed. Someone retarded enough to make EARNIE the first target of his criticism after yesterday's disgrace - EARNIE! the only player standing between us and total disaster this season! - is just too stupid to bother with. You have just become the first person ever on my Ignore list.
