I agree - most defeatist interview I've ever heard...

... Though it makes perfect sense given the utter chaos he's clearly dealing with behind the scenes. The only interview I could compare it with was one George Burley gave late in 01/2. The scummers could still have escaped at that stage - but Burley merely said he hoped they'd stay up, rather than they WOULD stay up (which any other manager would've insisted). I knew the writing was on the wall for him right then: as it is, surely, for Curbs too.
