When will we ever learn?

For 30 years, the IRA was bombing crap out of Ireland and the UK killing hundreds if not thousands. The result? They're now sitting round the table talking.

All those deaths for nothing.

Roll on a few more years and what have we got? Yet another bunch of bigotted loonies who are convinced that bombing the crap out of innocent people is the way to get what they want. Another 30 years, thousands dead before they wake up realise they'll achieve absolutely squat and go home.

"He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it". Never seems more apt than now.

What is wrong with the human race? I despair, I really do.
