working in ICT in education is actually a lot less stressful (normally) than in industry. Also unlike most schools in that particular job you get a lot more holiday, I only get 21 days a year as the ICT Manager at a school in Suffolk.
The pay is about right, depending on your experience, however it is quite hard to move up pay wise once you are at the top of the pay spine.
The biggest worry you will have is with a piece of software called SIMS.net... if you got the job and your school uses it... you'll know what I mean.
