Spillane - only 16, have to be EXCEPTIONAL to make it that young

Rossi Jarvis - Eagle's higher up the pecking order (Grant's given Eagle better chances than Worthy did). Also very young.

Cave-Brown - he has had terrible injury troubles just as he looked like making the step up, good idea to get him going again by a loan

Joe Lewis - again, he's hardly out of short trousers really, only about 18 or 19. You wouldn't want to put him in the first team at that age unless he was exceptional.

So I think all in all Grant has handled da yoof very well.

You're right that if Earnie had stayed fit, Martin wouldn't have got as much of a look in as he has. But the others? Grant's realised that Thorne is s**t; he needs Dion in defence cos the Doc is s**t (thanks Worthy); Hucks is available and is enjoying feeding crosses in to someone who's looking to attack them and score (ie Martin, not Uncle Peter); Sex Tape has been a disappointment (stupid bloody buy that IMO); Jarvis and Hendo have rightly gone on loan to freshen up or fail.

Well done PG, except for buying Sex Tape.
