After the pathetic sums spent during the transfer window we were clearly led to believe some major loan signings would be coming in to soften the blow.

We all knew the squad was much too small and more needed doing.

Every transfer window we get "we nearly signed......" unfortunately we ciouldn't get him due to the difficu8lties of signing anyone. Oh by the way other clubs managed to sign some of our players......

Have you noticed how they try to have it both ways too . When other clubs sign one of our players for a reported fee of say 500k doomcaster always says that in reality they only cost 50p and theres none left to spend. When we *sign* a player for 500k they really cost £1million plus agents and signing on fees etc so it really takes £2million from the budget.

Its b***sh**.

We may not be chelsea but for this division we should be in the top 6 or thereabouts yet we have the smallest squad in the division and our spending is dwarfed by other clubs. Even Coventry found 600k (rising to £1million) for MCKENZIE !! I'm not saying I'd buy him for that but if we hadn't sold him we'd not be in relegation trouble.

If we go down the board is 100% to blame.
