I'm beginning to think that the directors etc are in denial and actually think we're mid-table and that the actual table is a massive misprint.
How our club has been allowed to decline on the pitch whilst millions are spent on fixed assets is a facking disgrace. Had we spent the £3M on Ashton in the close season we were promoted it would probably (almost certainly) have earned us a second £20M+ season in the premiership.
So what have our glorious board achieved the past few seasons:
1. Promoted the little od Naarwich attitude whereby we donate 3 points in return for a good directors lunch and a pat on the head for Delia from the opposing chairman.
2. Failed to invest sufficiently (but still prudently) in the team when promoted, preferring fixed assets without the understanding that these don't win games.
3. Continued to pay the players that failed us Premiership level wages whilst they grosly underperformed last season and have continued to do the same this season as we perform even worse.
4. Failed to do the bl**ding obvious and sack Worthless in the summer instead of wasting a quarter of the current season.
5 Appointed a 'winner' as the new manager i.e. a novice who's tactical acumen at times makes Worthless like like Big Phil Scolari.
6. Have continued to ignore the glaring deficiencies within the squad preferring new hotels etc.
7. Abuse the fans when criticism arises as it's all our fault for continuing to pack Carrow Road and take large support to away games not forgetting that City players don't do away games.
It wouldn't surprise me with this lot if, should we be relegated, they sack Grant and re-appoint worthless and Livermore. Just think of all those cosy Sunday lunches again Chez Delia!
